Hello again landscape photography fans. It seems I have more good news to share with you. I received another email containing an announcement. This announcement was regarding one of my landscape photos receiving an award. So, I just had to share with you. This photo is a lovely evening view on a lookout point. So, without further ado, let’s dive in deeper with this landscape photo and its new award.
I’ll continue with tradition. Here’s the contents of the email I received with the announcement.
Fantastic news cramerimaging,
Your exceptional talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we are thrilled to inform you that your photo has been awarded the title of Contender in the Visual Poetry Project.
Your photograph stood out among many others, demonstrating your artistic vision and storytelling abilities.
At first, I didn’t really understand what this was all about. The link took me straight to the Viewbug page featuring my photo rather than to a page detailing what the award is. The title of “contender” didn’t immediately convey what the award was. However, with some thought and quick internet research, I think I know what the award is.
Viewbug was telling me that my photo was a finalist in the “Visual Poetry Project” contest. Why they chose language other than the plain text of telling me my photo was a finalist is beyond me. Still, it really is great to add this photo titled “Evening View” into my award-winning collection.
This view is a simple scenic turnout off of a highway. It overlooks quite a valley full of trees. Who would have thought that this warm summer evening view would see me walk away with another contest finalist? I sure didn’t know then.
So, now I turn things over to you landscape photography fans. What do you think of this photo and its new contest finalist award? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award which it just received? Please leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments section below. I’d really appreciate your feedback on the matter.
