Well, landscape photography fans.  Good news often comes together in pairs or even trios for me.  A few weeks ago, one such message arrived in my inbox.  Part 2 recently arrived.  Perhaps there will be a third, or perhaps not.  We will see.  However, let’s talk about the award for a rainbow landscape photo which I just received notice of.

Now, let’s start things off the right way.  It’s traditional to include all the relevant information from both the email and the description.  Let’s start with the email announcement.

I really do love how appropriate this award title is.  For I took the photo during a warm summer evening in the year 2020.  The “Summer Views Award” title seems well chosen.

This beautiful rainbow landscape photo has been a personal favorite of mine for a while so I’m glad that it received another award.  I hope that this is the beginning of more awards for this landscape scene.

The story behind this particular photo is rather short.  I simply had a feeling I needed to take my camera to work with me that day.  Since it wouldn’t cause much trouble, I acted on the thought.  I took my camera with me.  When I walked out at the end of my shift, I encountered this view.  It was so stunning and beautiful that I was glad I brought my camera with me.  I worked very quickly and captured this shot.

So, now I turn it over to you.  What do you think of this beautiful rainbow photo and its new award?  Do you like it?  Do you hate it?  Does it deserve the award it just received?  Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
