Well, the good news just keeps coming. Perhaps it’s coming in a cluster or perhaps it just comes in threes. Either way, I bet you know what kind of news I’m sharing with you today. I received word that another one of my landscape photos received an award. This time, I’m featuring a panorama showing off both the blue and gold of blue hour dying and golden hour beginning. So, let’s dive into the details of this new landscape photography award.
I’ve been waiting for others to recognize the beauty of this particular panorama. I knew about it when I created it. However, others seem slower to recognize this photo. Finally, people are giving this photo the love it deserves. It all starts out with an announcement email in my inbox like usual. So, as is traditional, here is the text of the email.
Congratulations : )
Awesome cramerimaging, you won People’s Choice in Panorama Magic Photo Challenge!
Thank you for sharing your creativity and collaborating by submitting your favorite photos in this challenge.
The included link took me straight to the photo info page on Viewbug. There’s no description. After all, it is the popular vote in a contest.
The other quote I can offer is from the account notifications. There they also told me about this award. Here’s that quote.
Congratulations! You are the People’s Choice winner of the Panorama Magic Photo Challenge, check it out!
I know these quotes are practically identical. However, they’re what I have to offer.
So, “Blue and Gold” the panorama started out as a commissioned photo shoot for the Grand Teton Council lakes project. I needed a photo of Henry’s Lake but my initial take left something to be desired. So, I tried again from a different point of view. During that shoot, I noticed this view and decided I needed to capture it with a panorama. That was the only way. Thus, the birth of my “Blue and Gold” panorama.
So, what do you think of this photo? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award it just received? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
