Good news landscape photography fans!  Are you ready for it?  I received news that yet another landscape photo of mine received a decoration in the form of an award.  So, what landscape photo and what award you ask?  Let’s discuss my new landscape photo award for a Thor’s Hammer photo I took.

I recently announced my first award for this landscape photo.  It won a mini-contest popular vote.  Now, it received another award worth noting.  So, let’s start out with the announcement email as is now traditional.

Since the email told me which photo it was, some of the mystery evaporated.  Still, there was always what the award was and why they bestowed my photo with it.  So, I clicked on the link and found this information.

cramerimaging, we are so grateful that you have been able to share your creativity with us in these challenging times.  Your photos positively touch people, and we want to celebrate your photo with the most traction so far this year.  Congratulations, this photo has been selected to receive the Halfway22 Award.

Upon examining my photo stats for uploads this year, they may have a point about this photo receiving the most traction.  It is, by far, my most stand-out photo I’ve uploaded so far this year.  It currently sits at 23 likes, 17 peer awards, and 3 top ranks (previously top of class) along with the previous popular choice community award.  This stat count should only increase over time.
