I had a surprise in my email yesterday afternoon. It turns out that the judges on Viewbug decided that they wanted to award another one of my photographs. The email was announcing their decision to award a winter stream photograph. So, I’m sharing the good news with you: my loyal readers.
I’m honored that they chose to award this photo of mine. I also want to extend my thanks to them for their kindness in choosing to award my beautiful landscape photo. It really feels good to receive this kind of recognition.
Now, to tell you a little bit about this photo. It was it was a difficult hike in to get the landscape photo of this stream. We found the trail covered in old snow and ice. My spouse wore some shoes which the tread already wore off a while ago. It was a really slick walk on those shoe soles. This made the hike difficult for us both. So we took longer to reach the end than we should have otherwise.
We reached the end of the slick trail, with some difficulty, and found ourselves staring at this scene in front of us. So, I pulled out my tripod and immediately got to work photographing it.
We’re glad to have made this hike for a winter stream photograph. This new award is a cherry on top. However, it was worth it in the end just for the chance at this winter stream photograph. So, what do you think of this award-winning landscape photograph? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award it just received? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. I’d so love to read up on your feedback on the matter.
