- Yet Another Award for Thor’s Hammer Photo
Good news like this is becoming much more regular than it has been in the past. I’m pleased to announce yet another award for my Thor’s Hammer landscape photo titled “Thor and the Warriors Three.” This makes award number 5 for this photo if my count is correct (at time of writing). It seems the folks over at Viewbug like this landscape photo of mine. So, let’s dive into the details now.
I’ll begin with the traditional opening: the announcement email I received. It contained the following brief message.
Hi cramerimaging,
Your creativity is inspiring and your photo “Thor and Warriors Three” was selected to receive a new award.
Those emails are always tantalizingly short. However, I clicked on the link as usual. It led me to a page with the following description and explanation.
Dear cramerimaging, this photo is unlike any other, and it’s been recognized for its uniqueness. This is why this photo has been selected to receive the achievement in originality award! Congratulations on the recognition this awarded creation has received!
Originality stands for ‘the ability to think independently and creatively’. This picture shows the uniqueness of who you are behind the lens, and how well you translate what’s in front of you into a photo for everyone to enjoy 😄 It’s obvious that you are passionate about what it takes to make an image come alive from start-to-finish! We are grateful that you’ve chosen the VIEWBUG community as the home for your photography.
So, “Thor and the Warriors Three” received an award titled the “Achievement in Originality Award” if you don’t catch it above. Perhaps this is an original take on the famous hoodoo. Perhaps not. Viewbug seems to think so from the award they bestowed upon it. If you can’t already tell, I’m not complaining in the least.
This Achievement in Originality award comes as the latest entry in a string of awards this beautiful landscape photo received in the past few months. It seems this photo is popular. I was so happy to see this image on the screen when I finished working on it. I love it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who does. I’m delighted to receive another award for my Thor’s Hammer landscape photo.
So, what do you think of this landscape photo and the award it just received? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award so recently bestowed upon it? Please share your thoughts and reactions in the comments section below. I’d really love love to read your feedback on the matter.
