Which Drywall Mounts Will Best Hold Your Fine Art?

Edit Template

Once you’ve purchased a new piece of fine art and prepared a place for it, you need to properly hang it on the wall.  Since your wall is probably made of drywall, this will require some kind of molly or other mounting assist.  Such an assist will carry the weight of the art, mat, and frame without damaging the wall.  This begs the question, which kinds of mollies are best for the job?  Today we discuss which drywall mounts will best hold up your fine art.

We could make an extensive comparison of the various models of wall mounting options available.  However, this UK based handyman has already done the work for us.  He understands what drywall (or plasterboard) can take far better than we do.  So, let’s hear what an expert has to say on the matter instead.

Some of the mounting options he presents are more heavy duty than what all but the biggest and heaviest framed fine art requires.  Still, if you want to buy fine art that big, it’s good to know what your options are for hanging it and not damaging your wall.

We hope you learned what you need about drywall mounts which will hold up your fine art.  We sure learned a lot ourselves.  Happy hanging and enjoy your new fine art.
