In keeping with our New Year’s resolution, we’re presenting the first in our series of new photographs today. We’re introducing a new winter picture for your enjoyment. We happened to be in the right place at the right time for this shot. This is what happens when you find snow frosting a canyon. We hope that you enjoy it.
We took another trip out to Bryce Canyon this past holiday season. So, we decided to check out the canyon with snow. It was well worth the car trip in the cold.
Despite a dangerous drive down to the national park in blizzard conditions on the freeway, we made it and were delighted to see that there was snow still frosting the cliff-sides of the canyon when we got there. We made sure that we brought our cameras along just for the possibility of getting this kind of shot on our visit.
We waited at just the right place at Sunset Point for the light to be just perfect. When the light was right and the shadows had receded from off the landscape, we started taking pictures. We also moved around to get just the perfect angle. Thanks to this, we managed to capture this beautiful photograph for all of you to enjoy.
