Water. It’s essential for life as we know it. Water covers most of the planet’s surface. Water plays a big part in our lives. It’s little wonder that water appears so much in landscape photography. It carves and shapes the land. It adds interest and character to an otherwise bland landscape. I take my fair share of water landscape photographs.
Today, we feature water landscapes for your viewing pleasure. Each is a unique location which has been carved out over time by the water which is so prominently featured in each landscape photo displayed below.
So, we hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing all of these landscape photos featuring water. We’ve shown photos ranging from streams, rivers, and waterfalls to lakes to the ocean. We even feature some frozen water with ice and snow. There’s water everywhere.
As you can see, I do love me some watery landscape scenes. I keep coming back to them in my photography endeavors. Other photographers feel similarly judging by their portfolio offerings.
