For years now I’ve been taking lots of different kinds of photos. Some for blog posts and articles like this one and some for other purposes like my own enjoyment. Well, many of these photos didn’t fit with the kinds of photography I sell because they’re not landscape photos. However, I found something to do with them. Now I’ve got stock photos for sale.
I’d been delaying stock photography for lots of different reasons. Most of them were stupid reasons. Well, I’ve finally gotten over that and decided to put some of the non-landscape nature photos and some of the animal photos I’ve taken up for sale as micro stock photos. You’ll also find a few photos which I’ve used as blog post illustrations in there as well.
After doing some research into various micro stock photography websites, I’ve determined that I will be offering my photos through Creative Market. They don’t require a subscription for you and they’re also fair to me as the photographer. All around, Creative Market is a win for everyone as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve created a dedicated store page for my stock photos here on my website. You can also check out my storefront on Creative Market here.
With Creative Market, you will need to purchase credits with their site which you can cash in for purchases. At the moment, they’re running about $1 a credit so most of your purchases will be relatively cheap. They take direct credit/debit card transactions as well as PayPal. The smallest credit package they currently offer is 20 credits for $20 (subject to change as Creative Market decides). That should give you a good idea of price.
Make sure that you follow the terms and conditions set forth by Creative Market when it comes to using my stock photos.
If you love my photography and find that one or more of my photos will do well with your brand, I encourage you to purchase a license. I hope to see my photography enhancing your online presence here soon.
