Just when I think that things may have quieted down for landscape photo awards, I get another email announcement in my inbox. It’s announcing that another one of my landscape photos has received an award. If you’ve been following me for a while, then this announcement is no surprise. This particular photo received decoration several times previously. It’s none other than my photo titled “Sun Dance” which received the award.
Viewbug struck again with photography awards. So, as has become standard format for these announcements, I’m including the email description and the website description of the “Spring 21 Award.” It’s a good tradition for these kinds of announcements. We’ll start with the email announcement.
“You are a rockstar, your photo Sun Dance was selected by one of our editors to receive a new award.”
Now, we’ll follow up with the website description for much greater detail.
“Congratulations cramerimaging this is awesome news. This photo has been selected to receive the Spring 21 Award recognition. Thank you for sharing your creativity and inspiring all of us.
This award celebrates how your creativity inspires the community. Based on our algorithms, from all your shots this photo is gaining the most traction in the last few days. This award recognizes the positive impact you create around Viewbug by sharing your photography. This Spring already is looking brighter than previous days and your participation in the community makes it even better. Congratulations, you are epic!”
I do love the final line of “you are epic!” It hits just the right note even if you or I may feel differently.
I do love that the judges and editors over at Viewbug continue to love this photo of mine. It’s one of my personal favorites too. So, what do you think of this beautiful landscape photo titled “Sun Dance” and it’s new award? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award which it just received?
