Last weed, Cramer Imaging happily took part in the “Expressions of Light” orchestra concert and art exhibition. For those of you who missed out on the event, here’s a brief explanation of what happened and what you missed out on.
The orchestra concert was much of what you might expect for a group with diverse levels of experience performing for the first time. We enjoyed the performance but noticed a few bugs which need addressing before the next performance, but that’s standard and expected.
The art exhibition portion was for the first half hour of the event. Several different artists from all over the Pocatello West Stake brought out their drawings, paintings, and photography for display. It made for a nice and varied show. There were a total of nine different artists displaying work that night.
I had an entire table and a couple of standing easels to myself. So, I had five of my best fine art photos out on display. They were very well received by the audience and several people wanted to know where I took those photos. A few people showed interest in the price of the photos they saw. People display some of these photos proudly in other places now.
Overall, including the tasty refreshments, the event was highly enjoyable and very successful. The “Expressions of Light” art exhibition was a wonderful idea we’d love to participate in again. We would also love to exhibit at other events like this one in the future. We do hope to see you at more exhibitions in the future.
