Hello again landscape photography fans.  There’s more good news coming my way and, thereby, your way as well.  Perhaps you’ve already guess what it is if you’re a regular here.  Another 1 of my landscape photos just received an award!  Perhaps you noticed the image thumbnail so, once again, you might have guessed it.  “Elemental” was awarded.  Keep reading to learn more about this landscape photo and its new award.

As always, this announcement email eludes to something but isn’t very clear about what, other than 1 of my photos just received an award.  So, I clicked on the link to learn which photo and what award it received.  This explanation was waiting for me on the other side.

cramerimaging, the Spotlight Award is a prestigious recognition given to photographers who showcase exceptional creativity and vision in their work.  It celebrates those who use their camera to capture unique perspectives playing with light composition and emotion to create truly unforgettable images.

Ok, so you love my landscape photo titled “Elemental.”  That’s awesome.  You love it enough that you decided it needed an award to show off how wonderful you think it is.  Thank you Viewbug.

This photo comes from a much less appreciated portion of Bryce Canyon National Park.  However, it’s seen a spike in popularity lately.  This Utah Pioneer built irrigation canal cuts right through part of the park and creates a beautiful oasis in the middle of the red desert.  It was free and clear of flash flood silt that day so it made for a beautiful scene.  I was very pleased I took my camera and tripod with me.
