I guess it was time for another piece of good news to land in my inbox.  So, it’s time to share it with all of you: my fans.  Another landscape photo of mine received an award.  Hooray!  I really do love this kind of news.  So, let’s dive in deeper.  My landscape photo titled “Ice Castle” wins another award.  Now, let’s look more at the award it won.

So, let’s start by keeping with tradition.  I’ll introduce the award description straight from my email and the page description provided.  Then I’ll share a few of my own thoughts about the award.  So, let’s start with the email announcement of the award received.

Of course, I clicked on the provided link to see what my photo won.  Viewbug always provides a link to the photo and award description.  This page and explanation came up on my screen.

cramerimaging, until recently this is your most engaging photo.  It has inspired and helped fuel the creativity of other members. Congratulations, this photo has been selected to receive the Top Shot Award.

Top Shot 22 is awarded to your photo that has the most time viewed.  It’s no small feat to take a breathtaking photo and win recognition for it.  You have managed that, and we want to congratulate you on your awesome photography!  Don’t let anything get in the way of posting what YOU love because people appreciate your creativity too 😄 This award is a big deal!  It’s awesome when community members take the time to enjoy your photos.

I needed to reread the explanation more than once.  The part about “the most time viewed” really tripped me up.  As it stands (at the time of writing), this particular photo boasts a total of 1275 views since its initial upload in January of 2018.  Another landscape photo, uploaded in June 2013, boasts a total of 2417 views.  I wonder where they began their count from.  Perhaps it was more of a random draw that way.

Still, I’m far from disappointed.  I love when a photo like “Ice Castle” wins an award.  I’ll gladly add another decoration to this seemingly popular award-winning landscape photo of mine.  What do you think of this multiple award-winning landscape photo of mine?  Please share your thoughts below in the comments section.
