The wonderful news just keeps flowing.  It was only a couple weeks ago that I announced a contest finalist.  This week, I have the privilege of announcing a winner.  You should note that this is not the same contest.  However, it’s still great news.  So, I though I’d share it with all my landscape photography fans.  This time, I’m pleased to announce that my photo “Ice Castle” is the winner.

As is tradition, I’ll share what I can.  Still, contest finalists and such announcements don’t give me much to work with.  But I’ll share what I have to share.

I first learned of this by checking my Viewbug app notifications.  There were an extraordinary number of notifications there.  However, mixed in, was an entry which contained the news.

Congratulations!  You are the Grand Jury Winner of the Winter landscape Photo Challenge, check it out!

This felt odd.  Usually, I receive an email announcement with the news, not a notification.  So, I went to check.  Sure enough, there was an email announcement as well.  Here is the message which that email announcement contained.

Thank you for sharing your creativity and collaborating by submitting your favorite photos in this challenge.

If I clicked on the link contained below, it sent me straight to the page on my account with the photo.  There’s now an entry under the awards heading detailing this new win.  Sadly, there’s nothing else to say about this award than what I’ve already included.

It makes me happy to add another entry onto this photo’s growing list of achievements.
