It seems that photography awards come in spurts for me.  They’ll cluster together so it’s either a feast or a famine of receiving awards.  I can go a while without any notifications.  Then, suddenly, I receive several only a few days apart.  This time seems to be no different as I received the good news of yet another landscape photo award here a few days ago.  So, let’s check out the award for an ice castle of a photo.

There are now a couple of landscape photos in my portfolio which seem guaranteed to turn heads and garner up awards for me.  I’m featuring one such photo today.  It’s my landscape photograph titled ‘Ice Castle.’

I received an email a few days ago notifying me of the good news.  This is par for the course from Viewbug.  The email said simply: “You are a rockstar, your photo Ice Castle was selected by one of our editors to receive a new award.”

How intriguing.  They deliberately don’t give me what award they granted my photo.  Instead, they give me a link to click and learn from there.  Well, there wasn’t anything else to do.

So, I clicked on the link to the page to learn what award the team granted this photo of mine.  So, the editors granted it an award called “Legendary.”  Here’s what Viewbug had to say about the award itself.

Congratulations are in order cramerimaging.  We’ve dedicated time to review the activity of your photos and this one had the most votes from all your shots and has been awarded the Legendary recognition badge.

This award celebrates how other photographers and community members are encouraged by your photography.  Your photo has received the love by getting votes amongst thousands of submissions in contests and challenges, you may not realize it but this is huge.  Congratulations and thank you for sharing your creativity with the community.

It sure does feel good to receive some love and attention for one of my landscape photos.  I do love sharing this kind of good news with all of you, my fans.  So, I’ll keep at it.  Every time another photo receives an award, you can count on me sharing it with you.
